 National Assembly factions and parliamentary group of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh issued a joint statement remarking on the attacks by Azerbaijan against Armenian armed forces.

“The tensions between the Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan’s armed forces are escalating on the line of contact. The rival undertakes attacks against civilians. Country which is a member of UN Security Council, is conducting all that.”
Deeply condemning attacks and provocations along the border of Armenia and Artsakh, we declare that:

- military provocations undertaken by Azerbaijan are aimed to fail the negotiations and to provoke regional instability,

- the international community is urged to undertake preventive measures to restrain Azerbaijan’s military policy recognizing the independence of Nagorno Karabakh,

- people of Nagorno-Karabakh are determined to defend its territorial integrity and to strengthen its independent and self-determined state.”

The joint statement has been signed by “Dashnaktsutyun”, “Democracy”, “Motherland” factions and “Artsakhatun” parliamentary group.
