Gayane Gasparyan elected the new rector of State Linguistic University
A couple of minutes ago Gayane Gasparyan has been elected with the majority of votes the new rector of Yerevan State Linguistic University after V Bryusov. Professors waiting for the voting results outdoor congratulated the newly elected rector as soon as she left the session hall.
The Council Chairman Vigen Sargsyan told Panorama.am that two people really deserving the position have applied. However, one of the candidates withdrew during the discussions recommending new changes for the further development of the university. Mr Sargsyan refused to comment on the former rector’s decision to sue Education Minister’s decision.
