Tito Vilanova agrees new contract with Barcelona
Tito Vilanova has agreed a two-year contract with Barcelona and could be formally presented to the media as the club's new coach before the week is out, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Goal.com report said after Pep Guardiola confirmed in April that he would be stepping down at the end of the season, the Blagurana immediately announced the former Spain international's right-hand man as his successor.
Vilanova's agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, has now reportedly reached a tentative agreement with Barca over a deal that will tie his client to Camp Nou until 2014, and an announcement could be made on Friday.
