Aravot: PAP is semi-pregnant
“Prosperous Armenia Party is semi-pregnant,” former deputy speaker of parliament Karapet Rubinyan told Aravot.
“Mr. Rubinyan thinks so because Prosperous Armenia declares that it is opposition, but holds a ministerial portfolio, and with explanations that there is no connection between sport and politics, PAP has chairmen in 4 parliamentary committees as well as deputy ministers and governors. More, our interlocutor disputes the assertion that there is no connection between sport and politics, because, if so, we can also claim that agriculture and health have no connection with politics, either,” the paper comments.
