According to Hraparak, after long search, MPs found out at last that it was MP Grigor Bellagio Grish Margaryan who had abstained in the vote on the government’s program Thursday. Margaryan is under the patronage of Prosperous Armenia Party, nevertheless, at an election meeting, Serzh Sargsyan had called on citizens to vote for him. According to our information, Grish promised not to oppose President’s course in the future, the paper says.

“Reporters surrounded Margaryan after the parliament session Thursday and asked him how he had voted. Margaryan said he had voted against the program. However, reporters persisted and asked him again. “I am free to vote however I want,” he said.

We learnt later that Grigoryan submitted an application to invalidate his vote, saying that he had pressed the wrong button, but he was told that it was impossible,” the paper writes.
