Ali Akbar Salehi: Relations with EU issue of top priority in Iran’s foreign policy
One of Iran’s foreign policy priorities is relations with the European Union, Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said during a visit to Cyprus.
Iranian news agency FARS quotes Minister Salehi as saying: “Our foreign policy faces obstacles in the international relations, since 33 years ago (means Islamic revolution) the people of Iran expressed their will to live independently.”
Iran’s FM, stressing that Tehran signifies relations with the EU, said Tehran will be aimed at establishing relations with EU when Cyprus assumes EU presidency.
