VivaCell-MTS encourages the winners of essay competition
VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of MTS OJSC, gladly informs that the three winners of the essay competition announced in the frames of the Career Development program received an HTC tablet, as well as BlackBerry 9700 and Galaxy Nexus S smartphones. 8 more students from a number of universities were handed various prizes as encouragement.
VivaCell-MTS rounded up the results of the competition announced earlier in May. According to the rules of the competition the students were offered topics on the modern role of technologies.
What is the role of the Internet in the social life? What influence can the mobile Internet have on the sphere of education and everyday life? What’s the next stage in development? Can social media change life? Anyone compelling with the rules of the contest was welcomed to participate.
All essays sent to Armenia’s leading telecommunication operator have been reviewed anonymously. The use of online resources in research has been paid particular importance.
“The first step to success starts with commitment. Being informed is an equally important precondition. The Internet and the digital technologies give such an opportunity. And it is upon you to choose the efficient way of using their advantage. Try to approach systemically and value the opportunities available for learning. The innovative technologies let minimize the spent time and maximize the efficiency of professionalization,” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
The winners of the contest are Eleonora Mkrtchyan, French University of Armenia; and Arman Sereda and Yekaterina Martirosyan, Moscow Institute for Economics, Statistics, and Informatics Yerevan branch. They have received an HTC tablet, BlackBerry 9700 and Galaxy Nexus S smartphones respectively.
