Balotelli has chance to win Golden Boot
Mario Balotelli has set his sights on firing Italy to Euro 2012 glory - by winning the Golden Boot, Mirror Football reported.
Balotelli’s goal double against Germany in Thursday's semi-final sealed Italy’s place for the Kiev showdown with reigning European champions Spain.
His brace also made him joint top scorer with three goals, along with Russia’s Alan Dzagoev, Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, Germany's Mario Gomez and Mario Mandzukic of Croatia.
Balotelli, who says he is committed to staying at City because of the support he has received from their fans, said: “It has been a special year for me.
"We won the league at Manchester City so having a good season doesn’t depend on winning the Euros.
“It would just be something special for me. If we don’t win it, it wouldn’t spoil the other things.
“If we win and I score, it will be amazing. If I don’t score and we win, it will still be amazing.”
