Zhoghovurd: Person who knocked down activist Vargdes Gaspari identified
The person who knocked down activist Vardges Gaspari near parliament entrance in Demirchyan Street on June 21 was identified as the security guard of MP Arakel Movsisyan, Shmays, Zhoghovurd reports. The paper has revealed that this stout young man, Gagik Geghamyan, was summoned to police station. Investigation into the case continues.
The paper reminds that Gaspari was protesting near parliament entrance for military doctor Vahe Avetyan who was cruelly beaten in Harsnakar restaurant on June 17. Republican MP Samvel Alexanyan approached Gaspari and snatched from him a placard inscribed “Ruben Hayrapetyan – Murderer.” Then Gagik Geghamyan knocked Gaspari down.
