Zhoghovurd: ADLU may decide not to join RPA
The Armenian Democratic Liberal Union (ADLU) in fact dissolved itself in March, to join RPA by the advice and with the direct participation of Barsegh Beglaryan dubbed Flash Barsegh, Zhoghovurd writes. ADLU leader Vahram Mkrtchyan was included in RPA’s election list in exchange for a promise that he will enter parliament. However, RPA ignored him. His party no longer exists, either. Mkrtchyan told the paper that RPA had offered him cooperation, but had not promised a parliamentary mandate.
“ADLU will hold a congress in autumn to decide whether to stay in RPA. If it decides to leave RPA, I will stay with ADLU,” Mkrtchyan told the paper.
In other words, ADLU may change its decision and not join RPA, the paper writes.
