‘Buenos Aires Celebrates Armenia’ Festival in Argentina
Buenos Aires has lately hosted celebrations for Armenia: ‘Buenos Aires Celebrates Armenia’ Festival was held in the city under the sponsorship of municipal authorities, Armenian Ministry of Diaspora and Embassy of Armenia in Argentina. The event was initiated by AGBU Buenos Aires Chapter.
Buenos Aires central avenue hosted a concert featuring New York’s Shoushi dance ensemble, American-Armenian musicians and Gayane, Masis and Nairi ensembles well-known in Argentina.
The historic avenue was bursting with Armenian culture; folk dancers performed dressed in traditional colorful attire, and taste buds were spoilt, with food stalls offering tempting cuisine.
The event was widely covered by local media, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
