Aravot: Investigation identifies those who transported gas balloons to Republic Square
High temperature and open fire caused the explosion of methane-filled balloons in Republic Square on May 4, according to expert conclusion, Aravot reports.
According to the paper, the preliminary investigation identified those who filled the balloons and transported them to Republic Square.
“However, a question emerges: why should these people be called to account, because there is no regulation for the mechanism and conditions of filling balloons with gas? The proper department and senior officials are first of all responsible for the incident,” the paper comments.
