Hraparak: HAK, PAP have divided future power
Hraparak touched upon the forthcoming presidential elections and possible cooperation between HAK and PAP.
“Vartan Oskanian will be the best candidate. It will not be difficult to persuade HAK to back Oskanian in the elections. According to our information, HAK and PAP have agreed that if Vartan Oskanian is elected President, Robert Kocharyan will be Prime Minister. Some senior positions will be given to HAK.
However, PAP thinks society may reject this scenario and not unite around Oskanian. In this case, PAP will prefer supporting Serzh Sargsyan provided that PAP’s preferred candidate should be appointed Prime Minister. Under this scenario, HAK will be out of the game," the paper writes.
