Levon Ter-Petrosyan expects Gagik Tsarukyan to back him in presidential elections
Golos Armenii daily comments on opposition’s stance on the upcoming mayoral and Council of Elders elections. According to the paper, Armenian National Congress (HAK) does not play independently in the local elections. HAK coordinator Levon Zurabyan declared that Congress will back the candidate which will contribute to the weakening of the authorities, so it can be supposed that HAK will back PAP’s candidates. In return, HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan certainly expects Gagik Tsarukyan to back him in the presidential elections of 2013, the paper writes.
