Armenian FM receives newly appointed Ambassador of Germany
Newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Rainer Morel presented a copy of his letter of credentials to Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian.
According to Foreign Ministry press service, Edward Nalbandian congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, expressing satisfaction over the dynamic development of Armenian-German political dialogue, comprehensive cooperation and intensive mutual visits of high-ranking officials. Minister Nalbandian expressed the hope that Ambassador Morel will contribute to further strengthening and expanding bilateral partnership between Armenia and Germany.
Ambassador Morel expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and assured that he will exert efforts towards building a closer relationship between the countries.
The interlocutors discussed Armenia-EU cooperation within the framework of Eastern Partnership.
Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Morel also dwelt on a range of regional issues of mutual interest.
