Gago closing on Valencia switch
Fernando Gago's agent has indicated that the Real Madrid midfielder is closing in on a move to Valencia, ESPN reported.
Gago, 26, spent last season on loan at Roma, making 30 Serie A appearances for the club and scoring once.
The Argentina international again looks set to ply his trade away from Real in the forthcoming campaign in his search for regular first-team action.
And Gago's agent, Lombilla Marcelo, is quoted by Marca as stating that a deal with Los Che is close to being struck.
Marcelo said: "The feeling is that we are keen to reach an agreement. Everything is on track."
