Haykakan Zhamanak: Passports printed in Armenia, not in France
Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent asked senior police officials whether it is true that passports are printed in Armenia’s Jrvezh town, not in France.
“The funny thing was that no one knew the answer to this question except Deputy Chief of Police Arthur Osikyan,” the paper writes.
Osikyan told the paper that a French company had been implementing a tender announced by police last year and added that an Armenian company won an additional tender announced by police in May.
"The police in fact has been lying this whole time that passports are printed in France," the paper says.
