Rector of Pedagogic institute gets rid of aged professors
Ruben Mirzakhanyan, the rector of Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan is planning to get rid of 65 years old professors from several departments, even though they have corresponding titles and rather long experience of lecturing, the “Hraparak” daily reports.
One of the professors of the University told the paper that the rector has given an internal order to the deans and heads of departments to persuade the aged professors that they cannot participate in the new contest which is to be held in August. And in that case around 50 professors will be dismissed from the University.
