Liverpool demand £22m for Agger
Liverpool have told Manchester City they need to increase their offer to £20 million if they want to buy defender Daniel Agger, Express.co.uk reported.
Merseyside neighbours Everton held out for £22m before selling Joleon Lescott to City three years ago and Liverpool value Denmark defender Agger, 27, in the same bracket.
City have made two unsuccessful bids but, it is understood, are not keen to go beyond £15m for a player boss Roberto Mancini wants as cover and competition for Lescott and Vincent Kompany.
