Syrian-Armenian kids to settle in Lusabats camp in Hankavan
At the invitation of Armenian government, 120 Syrian-Armenian kids arrived in Armenia from Damascus on an Armavia plane Thursday, August 9.
The kids will settle in the Lusabats camp in Hankavan. They are being accommodated in the camp at the moment, Armenian Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan told Pastinfo.
Earlier, Panorama.am reported that the first Armavia plane flew to Damascus on August 9 to transport 120 Syrian-Armenian kids to Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told the cabinet meeting Thursday that two more planes will fly to Syria to transport some 300 children to Armenia from Aleppo.
