Mourinho: Real played badly
Jose Mourinho appeared in the press room at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez at the end of the match against Getafe, realmadrid.com reported. The Whites’ coach analysed the game and stated that the home side’s victory was fair: “We dominated and won the first half, but we didn’t play well. They equalised and beat us in the second half, but the first half was not much different to the second. Getafe deserved to win and I congratulate them.”
The Madrid coach did not want to give excuses for this team’s defeat: “Getafe deserved to win. The players say there was a handball by Colunga, but I don’t care. They didn’t play fantastically, but they deserved to win and I congratulate them. We played badly and our performance was unacceptable. I’m not frustrated, because the final result, in terms of the match, isn’t a surprise.”
