Haykakan Zhamanak: Vardan Ghukasyan’s son involved in crossfire in Gyumri
According to Haykakan Zhamanak, a crossfire incident took place between two groups of young people in Gyumri on Monday after a campaign rally of Gyumri mayoral candidate Samvel Balasanyan held by a group of young people who vowed to back him in the mayoral election.
It is rumored that Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s son, who has recently returned from Russia, gathered his friends and went to “settle accounts" with Balasanyan’s supporters.
Police officials did not deny the incident, nor did they deny the fact that Spartak Ghukasyan was involved in it, but they refused to give further details, the paper writes.
