Iran offers solution to Syrian crisis at NAM summit
Iran has offered a solution to the crisis in Syria at the summit meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran, said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, according to IRNA.
It is reported that Iran offered to establish a ceasefire in Syria and work out mechanisms to start a dialogue between the conflicting sides.
Abdollahian said that Tehran’s proposal had been presented to the Foreign Ministers attending the NAM summit meeting, with the final result to be announced at the end of the meeting.
