First court hearing on balloon blast case on August 30
Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork-Marash Court, presided over by judge Gagik Poghosyan, will hold the first hearing on the balloon blast case on August 30, Pastinfo news agency reported.
Gas-filled balloons exploded during a campaign rally in Yerevan’s central Republic Square on May 4, 2012. As a result of the explosion 154 people were hospitalized with burn injuries.
The person who charged the balloons, Serob Bozoyan, has been charged with releasing or realizing products that do not meet security standards, causing health damage by negligence to two or more people.
