UN chief arrives in Tehran
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Tehran to attend the 16th heads-of-state summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), Iran’s Fars news agency said.
It is reported that today the UN chief will have separate meetings with Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili.
Recent Iranian media reports said that UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon would visit Iran's Natanz uranium enrichment facility on the sidelines of his presence at the summit meeting of NAM. However, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman denied the reports on Tuesday.
