Edward Nalbandian: Azerbaijan grossly violates international law
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassadors Robert Bradtke of the United States, Igor Popov of Russia, Jacques Faure of France and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk in Paris on September 2, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
The meeting dwelt on the situation resulting from the disgraceful deal between Hungary and Azerbaijan on killer Ramil Safarov’s extradition, with negative consequences not only for the negotiation process but also for peace, stability and security in the region.
Edward Nalbandian noted that Azerbaijan grossly violates international law, international conventions and agreements as well as its own commitments, hinders the Co-Chairs’ efforts towards peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, continuously rejects proposals to resolve the conflict, reduces to nothing all initiatives to create an atmosphere of mutual confidence, posing a serious threat to peace and security in the region.
