Tevez says Mancini row helped him in his career
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez insists his spat with boss Roberto Mancini last season helped to revive his career, ESPN reported.
After Tevez rowed with Mancini during a clash at Bayern Munich in the Champions League, he went AWOL for three months and his City career appeared to be in tatters.
However, he scored key goals towards the end of the most recent campaign as City won the Premier League, and has featured regularly at the start of the current season, looking as sharp as he has for years.
And Tevez claims the feud with Mancini helped him to rediscover his love for the game. "For better or worse, the fight with Mancini was good for me," Tevez said.
"I am enjoying football again, which is what I wanted, to feel this hunger for glory and to be happy."
