Bako Sahakyan sworn in as President of NKR
On September 7, NKR National Assembly held a special meeting at Stepanakert Culture and Youth Palace dedicated to the swearing-in ceremony for Artsakh Republic President.
After the ceremony, President Sahakyan delivered a speech.
Bako Sahakyan took the parade of the republic’s armed forces at Stepanakert’s Revival Square.
The event brought together an official delegation of the Republic of Armenia led by President Serzh Sargsyan, NKR Second President Arkady Ghukasyan, Primate of New Nakhichevan and Russian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Patriarchic exarch bishop Ezras Nersisyan, Head of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, leadership of the Artsakh Republic, delegates from Armenia and Diaspora as well as guests from abroad, presidential press service reported.
