Zhoghovurd: Some more MFA officials arrested
Head of Consular Department of Armenian Foreign Ministry, Hakob Haji-Hakobyan, was arrested on September 9 on suspicion of bribery within the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigation Department of Armenian National Security Service, Zhoghovurd daily reports.
Some more MFA officials were arrested within the framework of the same case, the paper’s sources say.
“Their evidence led to the arrest of the Head of Consular Department. However, it would be better if he were arrested with the same luxury for the extradition process carried out by Hungary, for example,” the paper writes.
