Expert says latest developments cause problems for Karabakh settlement
Hungary’s extradition and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s pardon of the convicted killer cause problems for Karabakh settlement, Gagik Harutyunyan, head of Noravank foundation, told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to the expert, the negotiation process should be maintained, with the new realities taken into account. Karabakh talks, he believes, may not resume soon.
The latest developments do not increase the probability of war because history shows that the society one of whose members is an axe-killer cannot be a good warrior, he concluded.
