Hraparak: Gagik Tsarukyan does not attend official events
Only Stepan Margaryan from Prosperous Armenia Party attended the award ceremony and reception in honor of Armenian chess players held by Serzh Sargsyan at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, while heads of all parliamentary factions and chairmen of NA standing committees had been invited to attend the event, Hraparak writes.
Gagik Tsarukyan, MP, chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, flew abroad for a private visit early in the morning on the day when it was already known that the Armenian national team was returning from Istanbul as well as the autumn session of Armenia’s National Assembly of the 5th convocation was opening, the paper writes.
Tsarukyan did not attend either the military parade of RA Armed Forces dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence last year, the paper reminds.
