David Harutyunyan to remain head of Armenian delegation to PACE
Members of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) were confirmed by Armenia’s National Assembly on Tuesday, Naira Zohrabyan, member of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) parliamentary faction, said in an interview with Panorama.am.
David Harutyunyan will remain head of the Armenian delegation to PACE, Mrs Zohrabyan said, adding that she will also continue working with the Armenian delegation.
The delegation also includes Levon Zurabyan (HAK) and Arpine Hovhannisyan (RPA). Reserve members include Vahe Hovhannisyan (PAP), Hermine Naghdalyan (RPA), Armen Rustamyan (ARF) and Zaruhi Postanjyan (Heritage).
With members of the Armenian delegation to PACE confirmed, rumors say that Hermine Naghdalyan, NA Deputy Speaker, will quit as member of the delegation. In particular, RPA faction has reached agreement on replacing Hermine Naghdalyan with Naira Karapetyan.
