Seyran Ohanyan awards medals to Armenian chess players
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received a delegation of members of Armenian national chess team led by coach Arshak Petrosyan, Defense Ministry press service reported.
The Minister congratulated the chess players on their third victory in the World Chess Olympiad in Istanbul.
Upon completion of the meeting, Seyran Ohanyan awarded Andranik Ozanyan Medal to chess players Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian, Tigran Petrosian, Gabriel Sargissian and coach Arshak Petrosyan as well as Garegin Nzhdeh Medal to chess player Sergei Movsesian.
