His Holiness Karekin II has private meeting with Pope
His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, met with Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican on September 12, priest Vahram Melikyan, head of Information Services of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, confirmed to Panorama.am. His Holiness Karekin II paid a private visit to Vatican, he stressed and therefore refused to give further details.
An official report said His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, paid a pontifical visit to the Armenian Diocese of Romania on September 10.
