VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, announces the Company has been recognized as the Best Employer during the Best Public Servant and the Best Trademark of the Year National Award in 2012.

The “National Confidence” council honors those organizations and public servants who have been the best in the spheres of economics and public service, and have had noticeable achievements, manifested devotion and philanthropy, have promoted the formation of competitiveness and have facilitated the increase of the public respect towards the public servants in Armenia. Based on the expert and public survey results, the council has recognized Armenia’s leading telecommunications operator as the best employer.

VivaCell-MTS, included in the list of the most merited organizations, has particularly been awarded for pioneering in the creation of jobs for the most vulnerable groups of society. The Company, which has taken the customer satisfaction as a measure of its performance, is the first in denying any kind of discrimination at workplace as part of its corporate social responsibility policies. 36 of the Company’s 1200 employees are people with special needs.
