Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to address UN General Assembly for last time as president
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, heading a high-ranking delegation, left for New York to attend and address the 67th regular session of the United Nations General Assembly, Iran's state-run news agency IRNA reported.
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Minister of Health Marziyeh Vahid Dastjerdi, Head of Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, senior Advisor to President Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi and a number of other cabinet members are accompanying Ahmadinejad to New York.
Ahmadinejad will address the United Nations General Assembly for the last time as president, given the fact that his second term expires in June 2013.
