Gagik Jhangiryan: All candidacies laughable, except Levon Ter-Petrosyan
Speaking to 168 Zham daily, Armenian National Congress (HAK) member Gagik Jhangiryan commented on rumors that Jhangiryan or HAK coordinator, Levon Zurabyan, could run for president. “I treat my own nomination as well as the nomination of Levon Zurabyan and other candidates with humor.”
Asked if it is possible that HAK will back some candidate nominated by another party, Jhangiryan said, “I think all candidacies are laughable, except Levon Ter-Petrosyan, our founding chairman, a public and political figure, a good scholar, person and friend.”
