Vayots Dzor governor: I have seen nothing
Vayots Dzor governor claims that he did not see how former governor, PAP member Sergey Bagratyan behaved during the local self-government elections on September 23. Edgar Ghazaryan told Aravot that he knows nothing about it.
Media reports say that on September 23, after voting was over, the former governor entered 39/01 polling station, where he hit a police officer with his head and tried to capture ballot papers. Yeghegnadzor police plan to refer materials on the incident to Armenia’s Special Investigation Service.
“I have nothing to do with it. I only know what was reported by media,” Edgar Ghazaryan said to Aravot, adding that the local self-government elections were free, fair and met democratic principles in all communities of Vayots Dzor region.
