Aronian draws with Anand in Grand Slam Masters Final Round 2
Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian drew with world champion Viswanathan Anand in the second round of Grand Slam Masters Final in São Paulo. The Armenian chess player is in second position with 4 points.
The leading player, Fabiano Caruana, beat Sergey Karjakin. Caruana is in the lead with 6 points.
Magnus Carlsen beat Francisco Vallejo and moved up to third position with 3 points.
Anand has scored 2 points, Vallejo has got 1 point. Karjakin has zero points.
Aronian will face off against Vallejo in the third round today. Caruana will play against Anand and Carlsen will play against Karjakin.
