Haykakan Zhamanak: Baghdasarov sold Armavia to Eurnekian?
Armavia Air Company owner Mikhail Baghdasarov confirmed to Haykakan Zhamanak media reports that he is negotiating the sale of the company’s shares, but did not specify whom he is negotiating with.
The company did not refute the information that Italian businessmen visited Armavia lately and got acquainted with the company’s staff. Armavia did not either deny that the company will be totally sold out.
By the way, manager of Zvartnots Airport, Eduardo Eurnekian, bought Italian Volare Air Company in 2008. Is it possible that the Italians who visited Armavia were representatives of Volare and Eurnekian is the potential buyer? A spokesperson for Armavia said to this: “I cannot tell you anything about that.”
