PAP faction boycotting voting on Oskanian’s status
The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) parliamentary faction is boycotting the voting on Armenian Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan’s petition to strip MP Vartan Oskanian of immunity as well as this four-day session of parliament, Naira Zohrabyan, secretary of PAP parliamentary faction, announced during the debate on the petition in the parliament.
Mrs Zohrabyan noted that today PAP MPs deliberately asked the Prosecutor General no questions, because they think his petition has no legal grounds and contains a political implication.
Members of PAP parliamentary faction will leave the parliament building after this debate, and will not attend this NA four-day session. Their future attendance of parliament sessions will be discussed later, she noted.
