PACE autumn session kicks off in Strasbourg
Autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) kicks off in Strasbourg today. This is the first session of PACE after Hungary’s extradition of axe-murderer Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan and events following it.
Armenian delegation headed by David Harutyunyan is in Strasbourg. But not all members of Armenian delegation have left for Strasbourg – PAP MPs Naira Zohrabyan and Vahe Hovhannisyan as well as RPA MP Aprine Hovhannisyan will join Armenian delegates tomorrow, October 2.
The Armenian National Assembly will debate today the petition of Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan to deprive PAP faction member Vartan Oskanian of immunity, and it is supposed that the above mentioned MPs stay in the country today for participation in the debate.
