Roberto Di Matteo says Shakhtar will be hard to beat
Roberto Di Matteo feels Chelsea still face a battle to qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League despite a 4-0 win at Nordsjaelland, Sky Sports reported.
Chelsea have four points from their first two games but now look forward to a double header against Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk who are level on points with the Blues in Group E.
"The Ukrainian champions are a very good team, and it's going to be hard for us to qualify," Di Matteo said:
"For us, it was important to win. The scoreline shows four goals scored and none conceded, so that's pleasing. Away from home, it's not easy in this competition.
"There are no pushovers in the Champions League. We got a clean sheet - another one - and scored four goals. Who knows? Hopefully some more will come away from home."
