Artsakh President awards educational workers on Teachers’ Day
On October 4, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed decrees to award honorary titles and state medals to a group of educational workers.
For great contribution to the development of science and education, for outstanding success in educating and upbringing the younger generation the honorary title of Honored Worker of Science was awarded to Professor Stephan Dadayan, rector of the Artsakh State University.
The honorary title of Honored Teacher was awarded to Ljudmila Barseghyan, director of Stepanakert Center of Child and Teen-Age Creativity, member of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic National Assembly; Edik Petrosyan, head of educational department of the Hadrout regional administration; Nikolay Saghyan, teacher of chemistry and biology in secondary school of the Chapar village (Martakert region).
For substantial contribution in educating and upbringing the younger generation Vachagan Barepasht Medal was awarded to Armenouhi Grigoryan, geography teacher in the secondary school of the Herher village (Martouni region); Greta Grigoryan, senior specialist of the Stepanakert city administration education and sport department; Lilik Hakobyan, dean the of humanities department in Stepanakert Grigor Narekatsi University.
The Gratitude Medal was awarded to Hasmik Antonyan, Armenian language and literature teacher of the Martouni town’s secondary school N1; Elmira Asryan, retired teacher from the Noragyugh village of the Askeran region; Asya Mangasaryan, Armenian language and literature teacher, deputy director of Chankatagh village secondary school (Martakert region); Ashot Nersisyan, director of the Mshen village secondary school (Kashatagh region), presidential press service reported.
