Spanish lawmaker: No justification to Azerbaijani actions
Representatives of Spain took the floor during the debate on Safarov in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Thursday, a Panorama.am correspondent reported from Strasbourg.
Pedro Agramunt said, “I entirely condemn Azerbaijani actions. I hope the committee will help us find out what happened.”
For his part, Diaz Тejera said, “Cold sweat stands out on your forehead when you think of that crime. In this issue, our position must be entire condemnation. There is no justification to this act. Nothing can relieve a person of responsibility for a vile act like that. It is abuse of law. When a normative act is applied this way, it is necessary to think what to do to prevent it from happening. There is no guarantee that it will not occur again. We need to think what we can do legally to prevent it in the future.”
