Vartan Oskanian charged with money laundering
Vartan Oskanian has been charged today with money laundering, Artsvin Baghramyan, a spokesperson for Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS), told Panorama.am.
Oskanian stayed less than an hour at NSS today and did not testify, the spokesperson noted.
We will remind that the petition by the Armenian Prosecutor General against Vartan Oskanian read, “The evidence obtained gives a sufficient basis to involve Vartan Oskanian as a defendant in this criminal case, charging him with embezzlement of a particularly large amount of money and legalization of the embezzlement profits.”
