Ronaldo injury not serious
The shoulder injury won’t prevent Portugal’s biggest star, Cristiano Ronaldo, from taking part in the crucial World Cup 2014 qualifier against Russia, RT reported.
According to Real Madrid’s website, Ronaldo was feeling pain in his shoulder after an unlucky fall in Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona.
But the medical tests the 27-year-old underwent revealed that the injury wasn’t serious.
Cristiano is expected to arrive at Portugal’s training camp later on Monday.
Ronaldo and Co. take on their main rivals for the Brazil 2014 ticket, Russia, on Friday, October 12 at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
