Iran discovers second oil field in Caspian Sea
Iran has discovered a second oil field in the Caspian Sea, Iranian website Mashreghnews.ir reports.
Ali Osuli, Khazar Exploration and Production Company's (KEPCO) managing director, told a meeting of oil industry representatives in Sari on Thursday that the new oil field was located 500,000 meters far from Sardar-e Jangal field.
Iranian media reported in August that Iran had discovered a new oil field in the Caspian Sea, whose oil was among the top quality oil products in the world.
