Armenia, Russia sign agreement on long-term economic cooperation
Yerevan hosted today the 14th meeting of Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission. Following the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on long-term economic cooperation for the period till 2020 as well as the protocols of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission.
The document was co-signed by Armenian co-chair of Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Russian co-chair, Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov.
Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan told reporters after the signing ceremony that the cooperation agreement concerns almost all branches of Armenian economy. “The agreement outlines actions of mutual interest aimed at achieving our goals.”
“This is complex program elaborated by working groups from Armenia and Russia. No single aspect – be it economy, culture or social field - has been left out of the agreement.”
