Grigory Karasin, Philip Gordon discuss Karabakh issue
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon met in Geneva on Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a news release.
The sides exchanged views on the influence of the results of Georgian parliamentary elections on the situation in the South Caucasus as well as Tbilisi’s relationship with neighboring states.
The Russian and U.S. officials also discussed development of Russia’s and U.S.’s relations with the South Caucasus states and the current situation around the talks on the Karabakh settlement.
